Hi guys, once again i pit my eldar against blood angels in a crusade game with 5 objectives. From this game i have realised i don't quite know how to deploy properly, and comments on how to improve it would be great.

Hope you enjoy.

The wave serpent unleashes its 9 shots on the land speeder;

I'm assuming this was a typo?

A WS can t most fire 7 shots with a TL-SL and SC

Other than that it was a good report. And I always appreciate people taking the time to put these together.

I had the same question Sagan.

Also, why hold your Fire Dragons in reserve? I would think against a list like your opponents, with no scoring units, and a bunch of tanks you would want to make sure they are on the table to be able to wreck as much stuff as possible.

How have the 8 man Dragons been working? I have run 5 man squads which I feel is sufficient. it seems the extra bodies are good when shooting at infantry but a waste against tanks. I have found that if people shoot at Dragons they will die whether 5 man strong or 10 man strong. Does 8 seem to make a big difference for you?

Nice overall report though! Keep it up!

EDIT* Just noticed on your list, do your Walkers have Cannons or Lasers? I notice the points say 180, so that would assume they have Scatter Lasers, but you refernce them as cannons yes? Just a thought, it'd save you 60 points in case you made the mistake.

Yer that was a typo, i ment 7 shots, thanks for showing me that , corrected it now.

Yes, another typo (i really need to read over my posts closer in future) they had scatter lasers not shuriken cannons.

The 8 man fire dragons are Ok, not great for the points costs as they either make a vehicle explode and lose a guy or two or become such a large target the opponent has to target them and wipe them out, never really letting them shine. Im considering reducing them down to 5 or 6 man squads. I just cant justify the price tag.

The best way to deploy is in cover. It means that if the enemy seizes the initiative, you'll get cover against heavy fire. Against the Storm Raven or fliers in general, move your vehicles into decent cover or if they are skimmers, move them flat out to get the 4+ cover.
TL;DR use cover.
