Hi everyone,

I am new to dakka, but have been in the hobbey for a long time. I have put together a mostly footslogging space wolf force. The CSM Allies are introduced for some added speed, Objective Holder and Heavy Support. Logan will be used to ensure that long fangs can keep up with the hunter squads and provide on the go fire-support. Ones in prime position he will join other units for cc carnage. Any feedback is hugely appreciated, Thanks!

Anyway...I don't see the point of Logan Grimnar because you're not taking advantage of any of his perks. Why not just take a stock wolf lord? Or just get rid of him and spend the 275 points on a lot more stuff?

Yes Logan is too expensive if you arent taking any WG i would say take another rune preist and more LF

Thanks Guys! I wanted to take Logan to use use his relentless (on long fangs) and other special rules. Most of my opponents are eldar players, and I am struggling to keep up with their war walkers and Prism tanks.

I ran an updated list over the weekend against an Eldar player. I decided to take out the allies section, as psykers tend to struggle against runes of warding.
My list struggled in the first 2 rounds, taking a lot of fire. The drop pod squad landed spot on, wiped out a unit of eldar snipers, took a whole turn of eldar fire and 4 models still survived to run for cover and in the last turns grab an objective. But when the land raider and Logan Grimnar made it to the Eldar lines the results were just devastating. Logan single handedly cut apart 10 wraithguard with seer and lock and 2 Wraith Lords.
His unit of hunters only took 4 casualties, taking out another 6 scorpions. The Landraider almost survived to the end, losing its last hull point in turn 6. I won by 9 vs 4 victory points.
