Internetz! I am trying to decide on my 6th edition BA army. I am getting set for a 40K showdown weekend with some buds and I need some feedback. I got a host of angels, but who to use? I'm looking at the following for 1500 pts. Oh, and i'll be playing IG, Space Marines, BT's & orks. The marine armies got a lot of heavy armor in LR's & termies & and some speeders plus a storm talon or two, and my brother is running what he calls an "air cav" IG list with lots of nasty fliers. The Ork players army I typically match up well against, not overly concerned with him.

I'm thinking combat squad scouts onto objectives and they form firing line with dev's along my side of the board. Assault squads & Baals move up and stormraven zips around going pew pew! We are not overly competitive, but we only play a handful of times a year, so I want to WIN.

Perhaps if you're worried about fliers you could consider an Aegis Defense Line with a Quad Gun. You could halve the Scout squad and then find another 10 points from somewhere to get it. Then just sit the scouts and devs in it and shoot down whatever the hell you feel like.

That Storm Raven will own every flyer in 1V1 You should be fine
outher than that for Objective games you should be fine.

The stormraven vs. multiple vendettas is pretty even match up.
