I'm looking at starting a new army, and I fell in love with Ork Lootas, so the boyz are going to be my second army. Thing is, I'm on a limited budget and want to only buy models that I need for an army (at least to start). Here's the list I came up with (2k points):

Aegis Defense Line

My idea is that the Bosses pile in with the Nobz in the Battlewagons and bumrush the other gits with the Trukks in tow. The Deffkoptas Outflank/Scout, and the Lootas pour out tons of fire from behind the Defense Line. A lot of my choices are somewhat dictated by what I already have available (two boxes of Black Reach Orks), but I've got some flexibility as far as the rest.

EDIT: Forgot to include Stikkbombs on the Boyz.

Any input, guys?

I would actually put sluggas in trukks.
Shoota boyz do go well in battlewagons, for one you can not death roll and assault.
So AoBR boyz in your trukks and then the 40 shoota boyz from the box set in your 2 battlewagons.

You'll find find your list is ok but you'll find your troops a little light especially as how they are armed.

Trying to keep it cheap for you I would have to suggest nob bikers, they cost lots of points but relatively few $s and are actually worth it.
Also quad gun with some grots to fire it are cheap in $ given you already have the quadgun. Also this is awesome.

deffkoptas are cheap in $. There are better units for you but you should find they are important to your list. The only other suggestion is to convert AOBR koptas into rocket buggies which are cheap in points and $ and are less likely to run away.
