Strategy of War is a present day combat card game for two or more players.

Wow. That's pretty cool.
The best bit is that my first response was to think, "It'd be cool if they did expan-" and immediately saw the expansions they plan on doing if it pans out.

I like for a $40 pledge you get enough to play with 3 other freinds and all the stretch goals.
I signed on early and glad to see that it made it. NOw to get more people to sign on and really open those stretches.

I doubt it will ever oust MtG, but it an alternative for those who prefer a modern warfare theme over fantasy. Just another flavour in the CCG genre. Take it or leave it

Strategy of War is not a CCG. It is a living card game.
Yes, they have an A10 card. It is called Thunderbolt Dragons.

The official name for it is the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, referring to the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt.
