I bought the new psychic power cards when they came out, but I haven´t used them yet. I asked my local GW store about how to use them. What I´m having vtrouble with is that there is no point cost for anything, like there is in the codicies. They told me that I´m free to choose one (in an discipline that my army can do of coure) without paying any pts cost for it. This sounds wrong to me. Clarify please!

Certain Psykers can use the Psychic Disciplines intstead of their Codex Powers . If they do so, they give up all Codex powers for a set number of Discipline powers. (Who can take how many and what is covered in individual army FAQs).

Prior to Deployment decide whether any of your Psykers who can trade powers in are doing so.
Pick which table you want to use for each discipline power they get (for example if you get 2 power, you can take 2 from the same Discipline, or 1 from two different disciplines).
Roll a D6. If you do not want the power you roll, you can take the Primaris Power for that Discipline, but can only do it once per Discipline. If you get a power you already have, or a power that requires more Warp Charges then you have available, you roll again.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If you play an army where psykers still pay for powers (newer armies are usually told to take a certain number) then you need to pay for codex powers to swap out for the BRB powers.

See that´s where I have problems. I´m CSM and Doombolt cost 10 pts while Wind of Chaos cost 30 pts. Does it matter if I swap an expensive psych. power or a cheap one?

No, it makes no difference, so in practice, if you are going to use the non-codex powers, you will always just buy the cheapest powers in your codex up to the number you want.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).
