Hi all.

Anyone know of a schematic of the sentinel? Preferably grayscale but with the trouble i'm having finding one i'll take any diagram!

There might be something in the IG codex... or an IA volume...
That's not really a schematic though...

Can't really afford IA. (student funds... meh.)
I did have the original IA and i vaguely remember a diagram of the powerlifter. But that book's long been gone!

When i say schematic, I could use a diagram showing inner workings as my fanfic is based on the events following an augmentation operation upon the STC data of the lucius pattern sentinel. The first few improved versions roll off the line and are sent out on combat testing when the tech-magos behind the augmentation, is attacked then pursued by the inquisition.

Any Imperial Armour volume involving the Imperial Guard feature blueprints of Sentinels. I'll leave it to your initiative to get a hold of a copy of one of them...

Which pieces of the blueprints do you need? 0.o

An overall exterior diagram would allow me to play about using GIMP. And that's what i'm looking for. However a schematic showing interior workings would allow me to get the augmentations right and not put things in weird locations. The improvements are only really limited to the drive mechanisms allowing the sentinel to 'run' and have enough torque in the legs to jump.

I'll look into getting hold of a copy, but as this is only a small project it's not really worth me paying all the money for an IA just for this picture!

...Sentinels can jump limited distances. As far as I know there isn't a Chapter Approved article on them (the only ones which show detailed interior schematics), so you're probably stuffed in that regard. I doubt there's really any more details than what you can see on the model, Imperial Guard tech is really just that crude. If you want to add your own bits just make it up. =P

I have found a scribd copy of it. And it shows the power-lifter variant, so that's my backup plan.

The power lifter variant isn't different from the others bar its arm being different and the added rollcage (ah wait, that's the Drop Sentinel).

EDIT: But i didn't download it...

Like half of them... Vol:2, 3 (Taros), Siege of Vraks (Krieg specific ones), Badab Campaign (allied lists one). They're about as good as that, though there is some coloured ones too and ones with additional details like pennants, etc. Like I said, only chapter approved did detailed diagrams, and their one on the Sentinel to my knowledge didn't include any. Forgeworld include the specs though (ie armour thickness, max speed, etc).
