Olric the Wise is Ragnar Blackmane's successor (I can't stand that guy. Him and Cato Sicarius. I just don't like them...)

Well, that's your opinion. I just don't like him. I don't know why. I think it's because I have a problem with people who just paint the stuff on the box front.

I personally disagree with their being two units of skyclaws. I can see one unit of crazy bloodclaws strapping the jump packs on but probably not two.

I'd think there might be a landspeeder squadron in there or two Thunderwolf units as your leader guy is on a Thunderwolf.


Again as this isn't an actual army list, its purely personal fluff taste to composition.

Like 1 pack does it and to try and keep up withthe havoc the other pack does it...

The Wolf Lord is not on a Thunderwolf.

I do like two packs of Skyclaws. The one-upping idea was a good one. I could have a score tally thing going.

I think you did a good job with the naming of the company and certain details like giving names.
Have you though of writing a short back ground for your army to give it something particular about your army?

A nice idea, now needs a good saga behind it to support it.

I have changed my Great Company's Wolf Lord's name to Olric the Wise. So, here is the Saga of the Olric the Wise

Excerpted from "The Saga of Olric the Wise", as told by Fengir the Unbowed, Company Elder and Skjald

It was with the death of mighty Ragnar, that young Olric first rose to prominence. He was but a whelp, a Blood Claw in the lowest echelon's of Blackmane's company, when his Lord was struck down.

Mighty Ragnar was betrayed, challenged to single combat by a Trickster Daemon, a Changer. He was challenged to single combat, and replied with honour. The contest was to be held on a small moon, and Stormchild waited in orbit for him. And yet, when Ragnar arrived on the surface, he encountered not one daemon, but thousands. Though he fought well, slaying a thousand daemons, he was felled. His warriors, arriving too late, were able only to save his body, and return it to the Fang.

When the question of his successor was raised, there was much debate, a vote was inconclusive, the parties divided three ways throughout the Company. All out war was on the verge of breaking out, when, as the Company gathered in the Great Hall and readied for war, a single command rang out. "Stop!" A young Blood Claw stepped between the three rivals for the crown of Wolf Lord - Olric. With strong words, and strong arms too, he subdued the raging warriors, and soon peace returned. The Old Wolf himself saw this event, and commanded that young warrior be raised to the Wolf Guard. When the vote was called once more, the vote was unanimous. Olric the Wise replaced Ragnar Blackmane as Wolf Lord.

Young Olric cemented his position in the manner of many Wolf Lords, by avenging his predecessor. The Daemon was called to account, and this time, Olric brought all his warriors. The fight was brutal, and only one hundred and thirty Wolves returned to the Fold, but the battle was won, the Daemon slain...

Olric's Company soon began to take shape. He valued warriors who had their own sagas, and their own legends, above all others.

I'd change it from him being a Blood Claw to a member of Ragnar's Wolf Guard...
No Space Wolf would vote for a Blood Claw to command a great company.
They're too strong headed to be an able Wolf Lord...

This point is that he's a Blood Claw. That's why his rise to greatness is so meteoric, more so than even Ragnar Blackmane. Space Wolves respect strength (which he has), but they also respect wisdom - which he has in bucketloads...

He's not headstrong. He's cleverer than that...

I see where your trying to take your story but I agree with purplefood [DCM] a young blood claw has yet to master all of his abilities and control the wulfen inside so better its be maybe a blood claw pack leader at least to show some experience and wisdom rather than a youthful blood claw.

SW aren't led by sergeants anymore...
The Wolf Guard of the Wolf Lord usually command them.

That just cheapens Ragnar a bit, as well as seeming a bit like "Ragnar Blackmane, only BETTAR!"
