Hey Dakka, I've been kicking an idea around in my head about making a SM command swuad or terminator squad based on the Kingsguard from the Game of Thrones Series. I was thinking of using Black Templar robed torsos, Bretonnian Knights heads, the SM commander cape back, and various knightly looking swords and accessories. Although, I don't know what I would use for the Terminator bodies, since none that I have seen look suitably 'knightly'
Any and all suggestions on how to improve the idea are welcome!

I would skip the caped torso and get the Regal Cloaks from Anvil Industries: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_71&product_id=51

For helmets, I would get the Grey Knights helmets. For weapons, the various power weapons and shields from the various kits will do just fine.

I actually found some sweet, alternative capes to use because i don't want every guy to have the same cloak, as that would be a bit boring.
As I am planning on buying the SM Command Squad set, I am going to use those bodies as the base for the conversion, although I will be keeping the Company Champion mostly the same

HAHA we posted the same thing at the same time, never had that happen before!

I do have some spare Grey Knight heads, so I will have those as a backup; I want to see how the Bret heads scale up to SM

For terminators, you can use the BT shields of FW or make your own shields. A terminator can look like a knight just by proper iconography: knights are, after all, just people wearing armor.

Dunno if this will help:
Spoiler:

My gallery is also filled with Knight-themed marines.

You have some sweet models there!

I see what you're saying about the termies, would you have any suggestions on cloaks scaled for termies? Becuase a main part of the Kingsguard armor is his cloak

How good is your greenstuff-fu? I have found a nice tutorial on making greenstuff robes.

My greenstuff-fu is virtually nonexistant
Although, I might as well learn as it is a useful skill to have
