Hi all. Just received this notice in my inbox.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1093338811/renaissance-toys/posts/302514?ref=activity

Firstly, let me update you on progress since our first kickstarter effort:

Seeing that the most interest in our product was from 28mm tabletop gamers, we decided to refocus our efforts on that market. We also realized that expecting Kickstarter to deliver an audience for our project doesn't work - so we've been making efforts to become more visible within the gamer community. We've made a new start as "Renaissance Miniatures" - and engineered a new product, similar in concept to the castle - but based around an entire medieval village in accurate 28mm scale.

Secondly, we have teamed up with another Kickstarter veteran, Mario Lurig, of DiceCandies fame. Together, we're running a competition in which we're giving away around $300 worth of Renaissance Miniatures buildings, a dozen packs of Mario's delicious chocolate dice and signed copies of his latest book.

The first prize is a complete modular Tavern model - assembled and ready to use.

Visit the competition site here: http://RenaissanceMiniatures.com/contest - or at the Dice Candies site here: http://DiceCandies.com/contest.htm

Thirdly, we expect to start a new kickstarter to coincide with the end of the contest around Oct 1st of this year. If you're interested in discussing what we're up to - you can sign up to our forum system at http://renaissancetoys.com/forum

So the competition can be found here:

It looks like they are retooling their castles and related terrain for the 28mm market. Which can only be a good thing for the hobby

I'm not affiliated, just someone who followed their original kickstarter.
