Old player and old forum member, been away from active posting for a long time though, used to post on here under the name Raven but that was a decade ago. (ugh i'm old!
) Been lurking off and on over the years, figured i'd finally register and occasionally post again.
Used to play Gorkamorka, Mordheim when it came out,
40K cycling though Marine (Space Wolves),
IG (PDF), Ork (Bloodaxes), Chaos Marines (Night Lords, Iron Warriors, and Red Corsairs[before they were cool
lol]), and my last army was Kroot Mercenaries right before 4th edition came out when my
FLGS closed down and i went on hiatus.
Have a nice local
FLGS to the area again, have a good job to afford the new higher prices (jeeze are the Mk 2 rhino's expensive enough? and if i wanted to fiddle with laying tank tread i'd have bought a flipping 'russ!
[but they do look nice]), and honestly miss hanging out with nerds spending my weekends arguing about the fictional background of imaginary factions (aka 'fluff') with complete strangers (in that good friendly way
) Some of my best memories of childhood are of doing just that.
Right now i'm building up a power armored grunt army using an Inquisitor Coteaz 'Gray Knight' army list. Why? Because i like odd armies like that! Thinking of writing up an Auretian Technocracy Remnants background, but that's fairly obscure fluff to start with so dunno how it'd go down at the new
FLGS. Might just say 'AdMech' and leave it at that.
Anyway i've rambled enough, so back to lurk mode for me for now.
