Right, I want people to rip this a part as much as possible, I'm a bit of a novice at fantasy but want to get a good list, Here we go:

Lords:
Liche high Priest /w Talisman of Protection and level 4 255 points

Tomb King /w dragonhelm and destroyer of eternites 260 Points

Heroes:
Tomb Herald /w standard and standard of battle 120 Points

Liche Priest /w level 2 and 5++ save 135 Points

Core:
50 Warriors /w Spears and Standard 260 Points

40 Warriors 160 Points

30 Archers 180 Points

Special:
Warsphinx /w Breath 230 Points

Warsphinx /w Breath 230 Points

Rare:
Necrosphinx 225 Points

Necrosphinx 225 Points

Casket of souls 135 Points

Grand Total: 2415


I need a way to drop 15 Points, any ideas?

I think that you are too monster heavy. I feel like if you go up against any army with cannons or death/shadow magic that you are going to have a very hard time. I would recommend some tomb guard as well with those points gained from dropping two of the big beasties.

You need an Earthing Rod on the Hierophant.

If people want to kill him, they will do so with sheer volume of attacks from a cheap and expendable unit, a 4+ won't help.

I have used the 4x sphinx list. It's not very good. I would keep the Necrosphinx x2, but trade the Warkittens in for Tomb Guard, as furby says. My Tomb Guard unit has always performed well and soaks up cannons better than 2 sphinxes.

Oh, and if you run the 4x sphinx list, you need a Dispel Scroll somewhere. It's imperative that you stop the serious magic that can remove them because of being Initiative 1 or whatever.

What type of list are you after because currently its looking very haphazard. You wanting to take the fight to your foes or let them advance through a barrage of missile attacks bwfore throwing a counter punch? Also what do you own?

Well, I currently own 2 necrosphinxes, a casket, a liche priest, a king, 20 spearman, 20 warriors, 14 horseman and 3 chariots

The general consensus about sphinxes is that warsphinxes are the more competitive choice. I pesonally would take a level 4 nehekhara and a level 4 light. Light being the general. Fill your core with archers. Then add 2 units of 6 necroknights, and 2 screaming skull catapults.

so with the above army, your would be taking a highpriest and 2 priests? and just kinda sit back sort of thing?

Drop the prince, he adds nothing to the list. Use those points to take an earthing rod on your hierophant, and a dispel scroll on your light mage. I personally go for a bunker of 30 for my mages and I split the rest into 10s.

Otherwise, that is the list I would run.

Well I've already given each wizard 50 points of upgrades, just didn't know what. If i drop the Prince i could maybe get a casket? and then I would have 2 units of 30 then 6 units of 10

The casket would be nice, but I would rather get the earthing rod and the scroll as they would be more versatile.

Like I said, I've already got the points on the upgrades, so I can afford the casket if I drop the prince

If you have the points for a casket, get one. Or a Hierotitan. Or both.

Don't think I could afford a Titan, Casket will have to do
