Typical Fatecrusher with two squads of flamers with Tz. Heralds for ridiculous wound allocation. Horrors pop up form behind or use icon to enter and give overwatching bubble wrap! Its basically the perfect elite daemon list, almost pure elites. 5 units in wave 1, 4 units in wave 2. If I get the wrong half, the horrors can just wipe anything out and then it goes from objective game style, to murder everything style. Just maximize damage since you got the wrong half and clean up with the preferred wave later.

Ideas? Tactical suggestions?

I like it even though I'm not a big fan of 'crushers in this edition. I generally run 4-5 FMCs at 2000, so there's no room in my lists, but even if I made room I just feel that they're too slow compared to swooping FMCs. And when you add the Furious Charge nerf, the changes to wound allocation (you have no one to LoS for the 'crushers) and the Power Sword changes, I just don't see them as worth the points.

They got nerfed, yes, but they're still tough as hell and provide themseles as great spOnges for soaking up firepower

I agree, Bloodcrushers are just fine.

I'm a little surprised you're taking the Herald instead of another unit of Flamers. Hey, whatever works man.

The heralds are there for would allocation via 2+ lookout sir rules. As well it's a nice little glitch when a herald shoots a transport with a bolt and then the flamers scorch the guys that come out. Hooray master or scorcery and we are legion. I shoot the transport down and then I shoot what comes out.

Why would MoSorc help with that? It's just 2 units shooting at separate times

Not possible. If they're joined with the squad, all the shooting is resolved simultaneously.

As for the list itself...well, its a double force org chart list. It would probably be equally as effective as a single Force Org, with all the crushers in a single squad.

To be clear, I was not calling him out on anything.. Just asking for some clarification really

Is double force org being used alot in your area soungrinder? In my area, and in most of the larger national tourneys, they are disallowing it.

Personally I would drop one squad of crushers, beef up the second and exchange your Tzerald for a Mr. Skulls. Skulltaker on a jugg with crushers is very tough with Weaver backup. You can 'LoS' your second flamer squad with the pyrocaster.
Nothing wrong with your Tzerald but you can just run him bare on a disc for 65 and beef up your flamers. I confess I miss seeing screamers in the list but you have gone an alternate route with heavy horrors. Might work well for you.

That seems like a good idea. Beefing up the crushers will also soak up a ton of firepower when they see 6x crushers with skull taker at the head. I need to find some way to magnetize skull taker onto a bull .

I want screamers, but sadly they are the only daemon model I do not own out of 22k points. Never were good until now. As for the horrors they are amazing. With fearless now go, they're the most annoying, over watching, invulnerable tarpit of all time. It seems that tz daemons are the best at overwater. No one wants to assault 10-15 horrors with 3x shots each! Not to mention flamer blobs.

I like the skull taker suggestion since this list clearly lacks any real form of cc.

In my area (Seattle) I have yet to have anyone complain about double FOC. Personally I think the 1999+1 idea is just dumb.

Go against a Space wolves player loaded with jaws and 6 squads of longfangs and then tell me how you feel about it.

Yeah, thats my point exactly. Elietes/ flyer/ FMC spam is the new cheese. Good example with the longfangs, theyre hard to deal with when they ALL have freaking THSS or some equally annoying loadout. Good thing flamers can take care of well.... anything!
