I am thinking about magnetizing my terminators arms and was wondering what size magnets you all have had luck with?

3mm by 1.5mm disc's N42 grade.

thats my average magnet, If i want the arm to be fixed but the gun or whatever equipment on the end of it to be swapable I sometimes use 2mm by 1mm discs N50 grade.

I have 3mm x 1mm discs. But I think 1,5 mm will do the trick as well. I just got the others very cheap ^^

But every magnet has a weight it can lift, if you weigh the piece you wanna clip on you can easily sort out, which one you need. (diameter and such)

I use 1/8 x 1/16.

Either n42 or n52. They give a nice strong pull.
