Just curious what Tyranid players out there right now are running as their HQ choice. With the boost to psychic powers and the ability to cast 2 powers is the Swarmlord now worth his points?
I run a Swarmlord almost exclusivly now. He requires a decent amount of support, but with the changes to psykers he is definitly worth the points investment in most cases.
Flyrants have always let me down. Not a big fan.
Armored shell tyrant with guard and a PE bubble is real nice too though. Probably my second choice after the Swarmlord.
Still nothing wrong with using Primes or Tervgons for an HQ either.
Swarmlord, mostly because of his Mastery Level 2. If Tyrants were/could get Mastery Level 2, I'd probably run them more, but without it they don't see as much use from me. Personal preference I guess.
