Hey guys

I don't actually own a copy of the 6th ed warhammer 40k rulebook myself so I am reliant on my friends telling me the rules. I'm havin a 1500 point match this Sunday with a couple of mates but 1 guy is consistently cocky about himself, says he'll wipe the floor with me ect ect.

He's playing a green tide, and I am very unsure about how I will deal with him. Especially since he keeps saying how hard I will find it to destroy his flyers. Apparently my flying monstrous creatures, ( by the way I only have the bloodthirster and daemon prince ) won't be able to catch it or will be mobbed down. Unfortunately I have only recently started daemons and I built a list specific for 1500 matchs, not a tailored list.

I have about 15 flamers, 6 screamers, 2 tzeentch heralds on discs, prince, thirster, 2x5 plaguebearers, 2x5 pink horrors.

I do great against non horde armies. But flyers are starting to worry me. Any help will be appreciated

Your flying monstrous creatures can make vector strikes on his flyers. Never forget that.

Basically, make sure you position your FMCs so that you can start swooping and draw their line of movement across his flyer, and you can make D3+1 automatic hits at your base strength. A Bloodthirster should be able to swat a Dakkajet out of the sky pretty easily.
