A few questions about the CSM codex ability "Gift of Chaos" and the related implications of this psychic ability as they pertain to 6th edition:

1) Are the spawn that are created considered a unit for Victory Point purposes? The updated FAQ says to disregard the last sentence completely (the one that deals with how many VPs they were worth in 4th ed.) but I thought I might have missed out on them being considered a KP when killed.

2) Are the spawn that are created considered Fast-attack units like their normal Force-org counterparts? Are they still worth 1 KP if killed in this scenario, despite them being unable to score?

1. Unless it has an exception, it would be considered a unit for victory points in Purge the Alien.

2. They are Fast Attack. (Note, Kill Points are gone.) Purge the Alien and The Scouring would be the missions where these would be Victory points for your opponent.
