I am just toying with the concept because it seems so in keeping with the character of the chapter. Plus I just got this badass new Librarian model from Dark Vengeance I am dying to paint up

I am thinking:

WS6 BS4 S4 T4 I4 W3 A3 Ld8

Powered Armor (3+)
Bolt Pistol
Force Sword
Frag / Krak Grenades

Rage
Feel No Pain
It Will Not Die
Relentless
Fearless

Psychic Mastery Lvl 2

Spells:
Iron Arm
Warp Speed
Vortex of Doom (remember the penalty for failing to cast this spell and keep in mind he is Ld8)

Special Rules:
Insane: Can only run independently or with Death Company
Indiscriminate Bloodlust: MUST shoot, assault, and / or cast Vortex against the nearest non Flesh-Tearer model on the table (friend or foe) if able to do so. Allies beware!!

Somewhere in the 200 point range.

Keep in mind this guy is for strictly friendly / narrative games. Please let me know your thoughts!! Feel about right?

Looks good. I'd clean up the "must shoot, assault" etc etc rule. I understand what you're going for, though.

Traitor indeed, we have free khorne if you are hungry, if you want more good ol' grandfather will take care of you, but if you change your ways there are others here as well, but it will be a pleasure to have you join us.

Yeah, I figure the Ld 8 is because he is in the grips of the Black Rage and can't control his emotions / is slipping towards insanity and chaos as he loses his control over the warp.

I agree that the Tearers are on the very brink of becoming a Khorne cult... which is why I love them so very much!

Check out the batrep section... I'm working on a campaign that may have a very dark outcome for the Flesh Tearers...

Too many wounds for a Librarian. DC don't gain wounds.

There's no penalty to a LD 8 Vortex on a guy who will never have to use that power. You can put MUST in as many capitals as you want, but you've given him psychic powers that come before the shooting phase so he'll never need to have the warp charge remaining to attempt to use Vortex. Also, it's not a penalty that you have to shoot at allies, you probably won't have allies anyway. Don't try to pass this rule off as a penalty of any kind.

Anyone want to add something fun, friendly, and useful?

maybe change the bloodlust rule to any non deathcompany unit with X inches? and I think having 3 wounds is fine, but personally I'd put him around 185

oh and if he isnt some SC version, I'd put in an option for terminator armour, maybe to make him around 210 or something

That sounds cool. The reason I made the bloodlust rule as any non-FT model is because I plan on running him in a narrative campaign which will see my FT allied with IG a lot... it seems appropriate for the Flesh Tearers to be unable to control their bloodlust around their allies

So, with his current stats, I have him priced around 200. You think it's too high? I have him planned as an SC, more of a "glass hammer" (I actually don't think he will last long without an invuln), and I think termie armor might make him too tough.

DarknessEternal is a staunch supporter of friendly vampire/cannibal Blood Angels as opposed to Blood Angels flirting with Khorne and Slaanesh.

I guess I'll never find out why he thinks that guy will ever use Vortex now.
