Yeah, so I did a quick search using the Dakka search utility and couldn't find anything. I think my dakka search fu is weak....

Anyways, when viewing multiple different threads I've come across posts that have pictures attached, I simply cannot see them. They show up as completely black but have some of the proper dimensions, this is mostly happening in the P&M forum but it has occurred elsewhere on dakka as well. This issue has recurred across two releases of firefox and a switch to Chrome. Does anyone know what is happening or where I can find help/a solution?

Those images are not hosted on dakka, so the problem is down to the user using images from elsewhere (in this case it looks like they are from facebook, so you might need to be signed in to facebook for the images to be visible). It happens from time to time, and is out of our control unless people use dakka's gallery or forum attachments.

Hmm, they work fine when I'm not in filtered mode however, I just realised that by the way.....
