Hello there,
I'm looking for an urban rubble base theme (a la the wasteland from Fallout 3) for my new eldar army. I have found this most helpful guide at 3++ is the new black.

Because the GW paint line has changed, I was wondering if anyone could suggest something to make the similar dirty gray effect. Living in Japan, a lot of the common brands UK/US/Aus etc., painters may know are likely unavailable here. It's mostly Mr. Color and Tamiya. And of course the GW colours.

Could anyone with more experience than me (IE anyone!) share their knowledge?
Thanks very much.

You will likely want to look outside of this small fragment of the modeling community. There will be lots of info between scale modelers and things like Gundam modelers to give you good ideas for concrete and other features.

Tamiya paints are good - Mr Color is great (hard to get on this side of the pond). Shouldn't have much of a problem though.

Thanks mate. I'll take a look at those Mr. Color again. I looked briefly but it seemed to be translucent paints.
The locals are impressed with Hubro paints but they tell me they have to do a little jiggery-pokery to get the paint to adhere to the model. Adding PVA and such like. No idea why.

Anyway, thanks for the advice.
