Exactly what it says on the tin. Should I decide on Emperor's CHildren I'll probably give it a mix of black, purple, and gold.Word Bearers would be normal colors.

Those models make good Word Bearers.

They don't really have the EC looks IMHO. I think they look much better as Word Bearers. Plus, they come with cultists.

I'm both selfish and rational. I'm scheming, secretive and manipulative; I use knowledge as a tool for personal gain, and in turn obtaining more knowledge. At best, I am mysterious and stealthy; at worst, I am distrustful and opportunistic.

I was thinking of doing Emperor's Children myself.

Personally, I'm painting them as Blood Gorgons.

Emperor's children wouldn't work because the models are terribly spiky and Khorne-esque.

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

i think the way they are is pretty nice, and theres not too much room to convert them, so i might do them as they are on the box.
unless i see something that looks better on those models.

the ones on the box look most like world bearers but it love to see a reaaaly nice job of those purple ones. they could be intersting and unique

they would need a lot of converting to become EC's... for word bearers they are good right out of the box. Word bearers look to be pretty awesome army now. You'll probably be able to take dark apostles with ur cultists making them fearless, and use ally rules to call in daemons.

and oh yeah, if you just want to make them purples go ahead! a nice reddish dark shade of purple mixed in there, with some bone colored cloth, might look cool for word bearers.

The minis really scream "word bearer" to me, and the studio paintjob proves they look good in red... I'd go with Lorgar's legion myself. (actually the temptation to do that is distracting me from my black legion somewhat...)

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

As much as i love the Emperors Children, they dont really suit Fulgrim's legion in my opinion.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

I'd say wordbearers are easier to do (they practically are wordbearers) but if you did EC, well, I'd applaud you good sir.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

Yeah, Word Bearer. All they need is LOTS more scrolls/paper on them. I have no plans to do Word Bearers, even though I quite like the look and fluff, but if I were to do some, these Chosen would be perfect.

^ IIRC there are books and scroll bitz on the Skaven Plague Monk sprues. Possibly other WHFB sprues too. (empire wizards?)

I personally think that Word Bearers would fit better unless you want to cut off all the horns. I feel Emperor's children wouldn't fit the models.

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.
