I'm using this as one of my characters either a 40K assassin as well as my bakunin for infinity as welll as my personal character for 5150 etc~
I already decided that I wanted the body suit to be red, and as you can see that bits been filled in: but I can't for the life of me decide what to use as a colour... Almost instantly I'm drawn to black but thats so over-used alongside red and expected but I don't know what else might look good while fitting the variety of games I plan to use this in...

Suggestions / help would be much appreciated -.-'

Well xD I ended up going generic black as the recommended from what I found was green but I could do with some opinions on the black / way im doing it for this if anyone would be willing @.@ I may or may not apply paint damage to the armour to give it some metalic underneath but I'm not sure.

You could have done it a bone/cream color. I think that would really set it off, and you still look like you have a ways to go.
