I'm wondering about this because the guys in the sector I'm doing are blank, similar to the Tau. They're not all pariahs that destroy the Warp around them. In the sector, they grow large amounts of corn and have entire agriworlds dedicated to growing it for use as fuel. Over time, there were enormous advances in science for maximizing corn growth. This goes back many thousands of years, even before the Sturmkrieg Empire. I was thinking that this dedication to corn could result in the birth of a Chaos god of corn named Blhude. Then there could be a Chaos outbreak of cultists on the agriworlds turning to worship Blhude. Some of the cultists would specialize in warfare and become Blhude Berzerkers, who in their dedication, would plant corn on enemy worlds because Blhude would only care that corn grows, not where or who is growing it. Then the Inquisition could come in and there'd be fun stuff to write stories about.

The problem is, I don't know if blanks would be able to create Chaos entities that way.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

Chaos entities are created by psychically sensitive individuals. Huge numbers of them over a large period of time.
It took Slannesh a few hundred years to come into existence and that was with an entire galaxy spanning empire of fairly potent individuals and that was quick for a new Chaos god...

That makes sense, that the strength of the beings would influence the effect on creating daemons. I expected that blanks wouldn't be able to have an effect. Mostly I wanted to introduce a god of corn name Blhude.

I should send this to Matt Ward in case he writes the next Chaos codex.

Oh God no...... No.

"And then the daemons lost to the ultramarines in every battle because daemons are dumb, and the amazing ultramarines kick their daemon butts. Then this daemon is supposed to be the most powerful thing in the galaxy but a regular ultramarine could totally beat him in a battle. He just isn't as cool as the ultramarines."

It is giving me nightmares just thinking about

A. Tau are not blanks (they have souls, its just that they have a very small presence in the warp)
B. Blanks are very rare and having a world of blanks would be very unlikely due to a Blanks very stort life expectancy (being soulless makes others around them feel uneasy, meaning most are killed early in life.)
C. Why would the love of Corn create a Chaos God, it may create a gestalt entity in the warp but it would hardly be an aggresive organism.
D. Blanks do not have a link to Warp, this means they do not feed Warp entities and cannot be directly effected by Warp based power.

Corn is a horrible biofuel, so the fluff is illogical to start with.

Maybe you should have the fluff match the existing setting, such as just using Khorne, instead of trying to create a new deity?

Oil seed would be a better option, but in general with better fuel options it would be considered very wasteful to have an agriworld not growing food.

Oil seed is not corn though.
