I am playing 1000 pts of Necrons this week. Mission is Crusade and opponent is Orks.

I was going to take 2 Monoliths, 2 Ghost Arks, and an Annihilation Barge. I then realized the Monolith would have to snap shot if the particle whip is fired. This greatly reduces the effectiveness of the Monolith.

Now I am stuck. 1000 points is difficult to work with. My concern is too many Ork models, Battlewagons, and having enough scoring units to seize D3+2 objectives.

Have 110 points to spend, any suggestions?

Overlord - Warscythe, MSS, Res Orb
Lord - Res Orb, Staff of Light

4x10 Warriors

3x1 Annihilation Barges

The warrior squads can bring down any vehicle short of fliers and the ABs will rip through infantry.

I think the list above is pretty solid for 1000 points i don't think arcs can work at this points level tbh I'm not sold on them at higher points. a barges are very good for the points and i would defo try and fit at least 2 in any list you make for 1000 points.

Try this, i've had a lot of success with it so far, the wraithstar is pretty nasty, and you win at everything forever in a challenge.

I think I want to put my troops in AV13 vehicles to limit their chances of getting into CC and taking rounds to the face. What about this:
