ok so i have argued this several times with different people, and just wanted to get and opinion here. The scenario is can Mordrek and his ghost knights bring and Independent Character with them. I know the BRB says that you can bring an IC with a group and have them arrive from reserve. The only hitch is when that special rules are not confered from the group to the independent character, but my question is if they are already in reserve together, does mordrek leave the IC behind or do they go with him? They are in reserve and they both can arrive via deep strike and all that. They only hitch is can they both arrive on turn 1?

I don't see anything which would prevent an IC from joining the unit while in Reserve and arriving with them on turn 1, unless that IC didn't have the Deep Strike rule.

There is nothing preventing you from attaching an IC to Mordrak and his Ghost Knights. Furthermore there is nothing preventing that attached IC from also deepstriking as per Mordraks' special rule: "...Mordrak and any unit he accompanies..." provided they also have the ability to deepstrike. (ie: are in terminator armor; as i don't believe any ICs in the Gray knight codex have the deepstrike ability intrinsically)
(An Ordo Malleus Inquisitor with a psycannon or a Librarian are particularly good choices...)

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Librarians are typically better off buying a couple powers from the codex based on wether or not you want to tool them up for close combat or ranged combat. (Might of Titan, Sanctuary, Warp Rift, and The Shrouding are a few of the more popular ones) The inquisitors (especially Coteaz) are where you want to randomly roll on the 'divination' psychic table for the ever so sweet primaris and other powers there. (feel free to ignore the other tables, they don't compare).
