Hey all, I was wondering if it were possible to make 5 GK terminators and 10 grey knight strike squad models out of a space marine tactical squad boxset, and a GK terminator boxset.

Would it make the models considerably ugly, or do you think the models will turn out to be ok?

I seriously doubt it... There are plenty of left over bits from the Terminator box, but not enough storm bolters to outfit an entire 10 squad.

Not to mention the marines in a regular tac squad box look nothing like Grey Knights.

The main problem with that is that each GK has a psychic hood on his armour,

other than that the helmets are different, but with the termie heads thats not much of a problem,
plus you wont have all the engravings on all the armour pannels

The PA GK box has enough storm bolter arms and psycannons to equip 10 marines, though you'd have to mix up the force weapons. It won't look consistent either.

The Terminator box only has five storm bolters and they're designed to mount upon the terminator arms. If you're looking to build grey knights in PA the kit is pretty much useless as all the parts will be the wrong scale.

mmmhmm ye now that i think about it i'd have to cut off all the hands off the space marine tactical squad sprues and replace them with grey knight hands...it'll b ugly.
