Heres a question for all of you on Dakka.

A "Big Gunz" ork unit with a Zzap gun (for example) w/ 2-5 grots as krew, if you were to place them behind an Aegis Defence Line with a Quad Gun... would it be allowed to use one of the grot krew to fire the Aegis Quad Gun, seeing that the "Big Gunz" technically only need one grot to fire?

What say you fellow wargamers, think this would be acceptable? or should i just drop the 40pts on a minimum size gretchin unit (which I know can man the quad gun)?!

Fair question, I'm not 100% familiar with a zzap gun though. Is that considered artillery? (like thunderfirecannon)?

Not even sure of a Grots statline as there is not one listed in the BRB for them.

I'm on the fence about it, but I'm not seeing anything that screams no atm. However I am looking ^^

If so I might suggest goin with a min squad of gretchin just for more target saturation goodness.

Yes, this is completely legal. yes, the Gun Emplacement must fire at the same target as the Zzap gun.
