Lovely podcast. As always.
It's always nice to see the original team back together. Although it was very apparent the old tensions were still there. Difficult to listen to sometimes.
Also, it's really pleasing to hear that a group's first attempt at a board game is such a success.
Nice one guys.

Great episode. Very nice to hear Raef back on the show. Also nice to hear Dave Ramsey get some love. His programs are really good stuff and I actually listened to one of his podcasts right before this episode of the D6G. I loved that Raef brought up the "balancing your checkbook game."

Another fine episode. It took me a while to get to due to the overwhelming amount of content that Gencon managed to land in my podcast file.
The Spartacus review really made it seem as though the game really deserved a 3+ with a reroll or better. I can't wait to mind trick someone else into buying it. (X-Wings are going to be taking my gaming budget for a bit.)

Great podcast as always..
Although going by Craig's track record I should expect a *really* awkward interview with Tracy and/or Laura Hickman on the D6G in the near future?

Believe it or not, we had an interview scheduled for GenCon with Tracy, but it never developed.
I'm still on track, though, because those keeping track at home will remember I was rather critical of the Wyrd plastics this episode . . . and Eric Johns of Wyrd Miniatures will be our 3C for ep 112 . . .
Thanks again for the kind words, guys!

A few episodes ago Russ mentioned that his girls inadvertently got into SW via Lego SW. I am not a huge fan of SW (well I should say I am not a huge fan of George Lucas) but I still think SW and Empire are great movies. About 2 years ago I showed my kids this movie and they were totally unimpressed. But now, after playing the Lego games, they are into it, especially my 7 year old son. So I figured it’s probably time to watch the movies again. So my question is did you guys (D6 or anyone interested in this question) did you show your kids all 6 movies? Just the classic episodes (SW, ESB and RotJ)? Classic then new movies? I’ve watched the new trilogy and was not impressed but I do recall thinking they would be very kid appropriate.
My eldest are 9 and 7. I am posting this here because Russ’ comment about his kids getting into Indiana Jones through the Lego game reminded me about my SW experience.

The proper first time viewing order of Star Wars is the source of much debate among geek parents, sometimes bordering on religious fanaticism. The very first SW film my girls saw was indeed "A New Hope" thanks to my wife, and they were probably a bit young.
Recently they asked to see them all, and they insisted on starting with ep 1. They loved it. And they love Jar Jar. Say what you will about the guy, but kids love him.
So we watched them through in episode number order in the end, but TECHNICALLY we showed them: 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Thanks for the reply. Will be doing something similar as they saw 4 a few years ago. Once Lego SW is done will start 1, 2,3 etc.

I'm going to wait as long as I can before my kids see episodes 1-3. I've only seen episode 2 1.25 times and episode 3 1 time. They're still young at ages 4 and 2, so I have some time, but I really don't want them to like the prequels if I can have any impact on them.

Hi Russ,
Another question about kids and this episode. You mentioned Indiana Jones so I thought "Great, that would be a perfect family movie night!"... I forgot how gruesome this is and we lasted all of 15m before turning it off and watching something else. Can I ask how old your kids are as I know you mention taking them to the theatre to watch this. My eldest is 9y and it was too much for her.
P.S. Does Craig not get along with Wraith?
