This is the first hard cover 40k book I've owned and I'm having a little trouble with the binding coming loose. Anyone else having this problem or have any tips for a "Do It Yourself" method of taking care of this? I've seen other people remove the rules section and have it spiral-bound at a Kinko's or something, but I don't particularly like this method nor can I afford it. I would like to keep the book in tact as much as possible.

Call GW Customer Service, and ask them if they have had any problems with this issue.

maybe they can help sort it out.

I'd agree, I'd talk it out with GW customer service, at the end of the day you paid good money for a product which should last and the fact that you are asking proves you are trying your best to take care of what you've bought.

The gw customer service staff are quite friendly, they gave me a complete escher gang box after the one I ordered showed up with 2 models missing when I opened it. I got it almost within a day or two at no cost whatsoever. (I understand it's a different scenario here but still.)

^_^ Never thought of giving GW a call. I haven't had much luck with them but I'll give it a shot. Can't hurt, right?

I think I've tried to take care of it. I practically carry that thing around with me everywhere (in a backpack for protection.) The only thing that has gotten it to the poor condition it's in is use, and its only been two months and a half.

When I got my original 6th ed rulebook, it had been packed poorly and got really banged up in shipping. I called GW customer support(you may be on hold a while) and they rushed me a new copy of the rulebook but had me send back my other copy but neither shipping it to me or shipping it back cost me money.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!
