So, am I understanding the new FAQ correctly? Jump infantry units that did not use their jump packs in movement, still can make a 2d6 re-roll charge move into difficult terrain? They just have to take dangerous terrain tests right? They don't roll 3d6 and drop highest if they use jump packs to charge into difficult terrain?

Right and they can reroll the distance IIRC.
