Heyy guys, got a quick question about Eldrad's Divination ability.

Basically, is this resolved before or after the roll to seize the initiative? Here's the relevant quotations:

Rulebook pg. 122 wrote: ... [regarding rolling to seize] roll a D6 before the beginning of the first turn

Codex Eldar pg 51 wrote: ... After both sides of deployed at the start of the game, the Eldar player may reposition D3+1 units in his army...

I think this comes down to whether the "Start of the game" = the beginning of the first turn.

I thought I read somewhere that if anything happens around a certain time (along with something else), the player gets to decide which order to do it in?

(Personally, I'd let you decide when to use his power. If you think it'd be after the Seize, then go for it against me.)

While I know this goes back on the using other "using other armies FAQs" I'm pretty sure Lady Malys's Precognisant is dang near the exact same ability. Here is the DE's FAQ.

Page 53 – Lady Malys, Precognisant.
Change the second sentence to “At the start of the game, after
both sides have been deployed but before Infiltrator
deployment and Scout redeployments, the Dark Eldar player
may redeploy D3 units in his army, including placing them in
Reserve, though this may not result in more than half of your
army beginning the game in Reserve. Note that units
redeployed this way that are not placed in Reserve may not be
deployed outside of the Dark Eldar deployment zone.”

The Eldar FAQ (pg 4, right column, 4th entry) states that Eldrad's Divination occurs before Scouts.

You dobknow you can just copy and paste FAQ stuff right? They don't fall under the "omg don't post rules wording" since they are publicly available PDFs.
