What could be more fun than randomly changing how stuff works in your FAQ? Randomly changing how stuff works just days later and then not even announcing it! If you downloaded the main rulebook FAQ already, go get a new copy because stuff changed. For example (the thing that made me notice it):

Q: In a multiple barrage, do you determine all of the hits and all of
the Wounds separately for each blast, or do you resolve all of blasts
in one go? (p34)
A: Work out the total number of models hit by the multiple
barrage, then proceed to allocate Wounds and remove
casualties all in one go..

is now:

Q: In a multiple barrage, do you determine all of the hits and all of
the Wounds separately for each blast, or do you resolve all of blasts
in one go? (p34)
A: Work out the total number of models hit by each
template, then proceed to allocate Wounds and remove
casualties as normal for the models hit by each seperate
template.

I guess the lesson here is random silent rule changes are cinematic?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

If they had just called it 1.1, it would match the revision of all the other FAQs. The non-standard numbering bothers me more than anything else...

That's really annoying. I'm sure that this is not the only point that has been changed.

Wait, what? So this is not the 1.1 faq, but an even newer one? My 6th ed rulebook is now so out of date I should go to games workshop and demand they print a new 6.1 edition rule book and swap for free

Or, you could be happy that GW fixed two pretty idiotic rulings within a day, rather than waiting till 7th edition to do so - which was pretty much their practice up till now.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
