Greetings

Some of you may have seen my postings of vanilla marine / blood angel lists. Well, im incredibly underwhelmed with the at the moment, so im going to try something new!!!

Tell me how it looks. The objective of the army should become apparent quite quickly

Necron overlord - Phylactery, Sep. weave, Ressurection orb

Deathmarks x10

Triarch Stalker - Particle Shredder

Triarch Stalker - Particle Shredder

Immortals x10 - Tesla Carbines

Immortals x10 - Tesla Carbines

Warriors x15

Warriors x15

Destroyers x5

Annihilation Barge

Annihilation Barge

Annihilation Barge

Ok, so, basically what i plan on doing is keeping the overlord in a unit of immortals that i need to go get an objective with and the other one and the warriors can camp my objectives / advance on the enemy. The stalkers will pie-plate whatever i need to murder that turn and the barges and destroyers can unleash on it. The deathmarks will name terminators / incubi / whatever is expensive infantrywise. It may seem boring, but im going for effectiveness. if ive done something wrong / can make it better, please help me out.

Thanks

There is a significant lack of speed and maneuverability that will limit the capabilities of this army. Most games are objective based, how will you advance your troops and take forward objectives? You can't plan on getting to choose sides and place objective first every single game, as that will be the only way to huddle on more objectives than your foe.

Why Tesla on immortals? When rapid fire is full range there should never be a reason to take Tesla ever. Tesla will only ever be one shot and does not strip any vehicles armor regardless of av value.

You need transports badly. I tried to play foot crons paired with toys, it just doesn't work. Once a good chunk of toys are gone you become relatively ineffective and not very survivable. Yes vehicles took a hit in 6th, but transports are still required in most lists.

Find room for one ghost ark and one scythe transport. Hold objectives in your zone with ghost ark, and use that scythe to pull a last turn drop in the enemies zone. Could use a second scythe too, for insurance. If the scythe fails you still have an ark to send forward and capture, not to mention it is an armor stripping jerk.

Just my two cents, sorry if it was rough.

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun.

Rapid fire is not full range, you can still fire full range when moving but won't fine 2 shots over 12". That said gauss is still the better option.

I know its only one shot at full range, what i mean to say is that with the change in 6th Tesla, the non canon or destructor versions, has been made obsolete because of the ability to move and still fire single shot at full range.

It still puts out more damage at 12-24" then Gauss does, and it is still an Assault weapon, if your designing your Immortals capable of dealing with such.

But, in this particular list, I think you're right. I would recommend Gauss, or Tesla on one if he retools the Overlord for CC and adds another CC lord to the group. That way he has one troop selection he's not afraid to move forward into objective taking position (then again, even in that scenario, it's probably better the Phaeron the Overlord and stick with Gauss).

Also, Phylactery is a bit of an odd choice with the way you have him kitted out. The only time I would advocate for that Phylactery is if your fully committing to a Tank like Overlord, meaning Semp Weave, Phase Shift, Res Orb, and slapping him with a Chronomotron Tek.
