So I have a couple of Monoliths around my house from back when they were useful and I have no intent to use them with the newcrons. But a thought just occurred to me, why don't I turn them into Necron themed bastions?

Seems allright to me.

I have a friend who did the opposite; use a bastion as a monolith for his mechanicus count as army.

Yeah, it's a pretty solid idea. If you really wanted to, you could even theme up a Necron Tomb World table.

Not a bad idea, I already have plans to make a folding gaming table that will hold the battleboard and do up 1' x 1' cities of death squares for it as well, why not make a Necron Tomb world themed set as well
