I ordered some stuff from the Spartan Games online store. The payment went through, the order was shipped and all was well.

However, I have not received my products. They say you shouldn't contact them about stuff like this until 28 days from that the order is placed. Well, 28 days has gone and I am currently putting together an email and I wonder... Can I ask for a refund? Because that's what I want. Or is that absolutely crazy?

Thank you!

Yes you can ask for a refund... its within your right to as a consumer. You bought and paid for a product, you have yet to receive the product within a certain amount of time...

It's not crazy. You paid for something you did not receive.

Well, stores are usually not too willing to give refunds, they rather give you replacement products, which I do not want. So I just wanted to check.

It really depends on if they didnt send it or if the postal service/courier screwed up. But it can never hurt to ask.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

They did send the stuff. They claimed. I just sent an email asking so I'll see, hehe.

Could your shipment perhaps be stuck in your country's customs? That might be why it's taking longer to get to you, especially if it's already shipped and you haven't received it yet.

It's very reasonable to ask. Be reasonable, of course, they may offer some sort of compromise if the order is delayed.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

its a uk based store so is covered under uk distance selling laws .

Under the distance selling regulations, the goods must be delivered or the service carried out within the time period they have specified. If no time period is specified, then the statutory time limit is 30 days (unless you have agreed otherwise). If the supplier is unable to fulfil their obligations within 30 days, they must inform you before the end of the 30 day deadline. They may offer you an alternative date for delivery, but you are under no obligation to accept and are quite within your rights to ask for a full refund.
