Q: Does Iron Arm + Vector Strike work together?

S1: Iron Arm is a modifier.

S1: Modifiers are not allowed to be used during vector strike.

C1: Therefore, since Iron Arm is a modifier it can not be applied to vector strike.

A2: Modifiers are not allowed to be used during vector strike.

S2: Modifiers are defined to be "pieces of wargear or special rules" (pg.2 rule book)

S2: Iron arm is neither a piece of wargear or a special rule.

C2: Therefore, Iorn Arm is not a standard modifier and will be able to be applied to the strength of a model preforming vector strike.

Thoughts?

I knew a man who once said, ”Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back.”

IA is a special rule. And while there are numerous ways that you can modify stats, its pretty clear that Vector Stike, HOW etc, use the baseline stat of your model with no other modifiers.

It modifies your stats, it's a modifier.
'Psyker' (or Brotherhood of Psykers) is a Special rule that allows for the casting of Iron Arm, if you want to go down that road...
