ok folks a got a few questions that had been swimming in my head for a couple of days

1) What kind of weapon is a runic weapon? (axe, staves, maul, or an unspecified weapon with ap:3?)
2) does artillery only hits in the roof of the building? like in 5th edition?
3) i read somewhere in this forum sometime ago that monstrous creatures can't attack you, if you are on the first floor of a dilapidated building
-Is that true?
-can he still attempt to declare charge?
-does overwatch take place?

please i need these answers ASAP

1) unique, as wounding daemons on a 2+ is a unique rule.
2) only if barrage, and then only ruins, not buildings
3) monstrous creatures may not climb ruin s unless you both agree that it is sturdy enough to do so.

I think that the problem with monstrous creatures and terrain has to do with buildings and not ruins.
Need to check my rule book which I don't have with me now.

Killing is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass...

As Nos said, Monstrous Creatures (and also Walkers) can only go to upper levels of ruins if you agree with your opponent that the building is sturdy enough to support their weight.

If it came to a situation where a ruin wasn't sturdy enough for an MC to go up levels and I had a unit on the top then I'd probably house-rule that the MC could directly attack the ruin in an attempt to collapse it. Give the ruin AV10 and 4 Hull Points, every glancing or penetrating hit removes a hull point. Once the Hull Points are gone it collapses making it impossible to go above the first level and the units are treated as if they jumped off and so take Impact tests. After all, if it can't withstand the creatures weight due to gravity then it shouldn't be able to withstand the creature smashing into it with all its strength.

The Laws of Thermodynamics:
1) You cannot win. 2) You cannot break even. 3) You cannot stop playing the game.
