on the forum. Obviously

It doesn't matter. Heavy vehicles are always considered stationary, for the purposes of shooting.

Exactly. the Monolith can Deep Strike in a fire everything, as it counts as beign stationary.

Now if only they would Errata ther Particle Whip to Heavy so we could shoot everything with full BS too.

But then they wouldn't incinerate parking lots.

It doesn't do that now. The doomsday ark is way better at that.

The particle whip is a rich mans meq killer.

It USED to deciamte parkign lots (in the last codex it was S9 AP3 with Ap1 to anything directly under the dot). Now that it is S8 AP3 it is....lacklustre at best.

thsi coudl be mitigated if it could fire everythign but, alas, it looks like my 'Liths have been relegated to necron bastions or Apoc only units.

I don't see what the discussion is? general rule: a vehicle that remains stationary can fire every weapon at full ballistics skill. more specific rule: when firing ordnance you can only fire other weapons on snap shot

Page 71. Made my Demolishers w/PC Sponsons kind of useless. You would have thought that they could put that in the Ordnance weapon description on page 51 as the entry there is misleading. One of the things that changing Lumbering Behemoth rule to Heavy hosed Ordnance capable vehicles.
