So the pButcher tier list from NQ41 looked really interesting to me

Kodiaks screen butcher, iron fangs on each flank, mechanics trail jacks and hunters well..hunt

Thoughts? For myself this looks really goodat 35 pts but cannot see where I would go if the pt level increased

Kodiaks are pillowfisted, even on his feat turn. You'll be keeping rage up on them rather than butcher to get any kind of damage output on them if you aren't going for the chain attack.

The list looks really balanced to me. There is something for everything.

I don't agree that Kodiaks are weak. They are more for a threat, tying up units and using steam attack on infantry formations. Kodiaks do what they do. I have seen a kodiak with two focus rip apart a Trollblood bomber in pButcher's feat turn with avg rolling. So no 12 they are not "pillowfisted".

I killed Ol' Rowdy with a wardog on the Butcher's feat run once. That doesn't make P+S 16 any more unimpressive or the fact that mixing in a Juggernaut would improve his output.

Yes a juggy would be nice but not allowed in the tier list so no go there....only available jacks are zerkers, devastators, marauders and kodiaks...so

Keep in mind ronin, the weakest attack his army is going to be dishing out is going to be PS 13 from the IFPs. Even at 13, he will be able to stick a decent amount of damage on alot of heavies. Besides, the kodiaks hit as hard as an unbuffed jugg on butcher's feat turn. 5 16s+3d6 will demolish most heavies pretty easily. Comparing that to my trolls, hes rolling dice -2 against almost all of my dire trolls = / they wont stand up to that kind of punishment.

And with full throttle I am obviously hoping for a bunch of chain attacks and double handed throws and whatnot

@Kodo Why aren't you stacking ARM Buffs with the EBDT and the Stone? P+S 16 should be just tickling your Dires.

forgive me if i am wrong but i though that the limitation on warjacks for this theme list was only non char jacks without ranged weapons. isn't the Jug included in this?
