I would suggest you try both variations to see which you prefer more.
For the Tactical Squad that has a Flamer, might as well take a free Heavy Bolter for those lucky snap firing shots. It's not like 2 shots of bolters would kill people.
I would also remove the Predator and take Land Speeder with
MM/
HF or dual
MM.
I am sorry but I respecfully disagree. I play my bikes all the time and in 6th ed they are insane. You need full size units. You can combat squad in missions that use objective and in kill missions 10 T5 guys is pretty hard to kill compared to most scoring units. 10 bikes can get 10 hammer of wraths. They have a 5+ jink (4+ if boosted) and are scoring with the captain.
I would drop the relic blade and give him artificer armor. a T5 guy with a 2+ armor is boss this edition as power weapons are a joke vs him.
The tacticals are ok and I agree you should definitely take a heavy weapon in them. The H bolter is free and you have a chance of hits and later in the game they are way more effective.
Also I like power fists on the bike sgts. Yes you dont like combat much with them but they are tactical squads that basically move faster. Still need to kill characters and power armor guys.
Double tap twin bolters, charge with hammer of wraith, then power fist and kill. Very effective squads.
Also switch the dread in a drop pod to a vindicator. You really suffer in battles vs. hoard armies and the dread is too easy to to kill with hull points. I feel like dreads are really bad this edition (not including riflemen who are transport glancing machines!) By changing to a vindicator you will have 25 points left over and can then put heavy bolter sponsons on the predator making it very good vs infantry and enemy transports!
