"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of."
- Roboute Guilliman

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."
- Magnus the Red, to a statue of Leman Russ

Is there a reason why the images don't load on their website?

Is it leather bound or just faux leather?

£70 is a bit of a slap in the face it does look very professional, but doesn't have as many pages as the 40k rule book even from what I can see.

I wish they would do a normal hard back version as well especially as this is a series.

Certificate error. I click 'show blocked content' and it brings it up. Here's the direct links which have the same problem.

fantastic. After favouring IOS for their digital release, are they going to start favouring IE over other browsers?

I know not how these things work, and it shows, but come on, shouldn't all this be transparent to me?

If images won't load in chrome right click them and copy the image url. Its a security issue apparently. =P

Anyhow... "£25 does seem a little high considering other companies make jetbikes for a cheaper a price. However, the inclusion of heavy weapons rather than combi-bolters is neat to me (and well we're not paying for a standard bike, but an attack bike, so the price isn't as bad). I'd like for them to release other variants at a later stage (the Sabertooth cards has a half dozen version going ...not one with a Plasma cannon though).

Hopefully they're'll be more previews on the day of other items (ie where's the comms guy), but nonetheless, the products that are being shown now have a quality that justifies their price ( at least considering other Forgeworld items). ^^

Tinfoil hat much? It is just a techy issue with the server the pics are on. Give it a couple minutes and they'll have it sorted.

Images are sorted. Tinfoil hats however can now be bought as part of the accessories section.

No tin foil hat, I just enjoyed my Betamax when I was a kid, and I bought a HD-DVD player a few years back. My Sony eReader was going to lighten my bag while attending school.

Those bikes look awesome but they can count me out as long as they're that price.

Yes, true - but even then, that book price seems... excessive.

I get milking the cow and all that, but let's not kill the golden goose!

£70 for the book and £25 for a single bike? Nope. Hopefully there will be a cheaper version of the book out at some point, but for those prices I'd go with one of the many alternative jetbike manufacturers (also kind of funny that the scimitar bears almost none of the "jetbike" elements that GW are claiming are unique to their design on the CHS case, most notably the front grille)

Might pick up some Death Guard pads though, I've been trying to make my own and it's a pain in the butt
