Subject: Finecast and Plastic question

Torture Victim in the Bowels of the Rock

I tried to find something on this but I was unsuccessful. Is it possible to kit bash finecast resin with plastic? In particular I am looking to put Sammael, Master of the Ravenwing, into a Land speeder. I got a warped finecast bike so GW is sending me another, but now I have a lovely body that I think would look great in the land speeder. Has anyone tried this before? I suppose super glue would stick em together, I just worry about his size, etc.
Secondary question: How compatible are fantasy bits with 40k? I was looking into using a cavalry banner as my company standard instead of the command squad banner bit. I realize that the arm wouldn't be in power armor, but I can work around that if the sweet flowing banner is an option.

It's completely possible.
The big thing about the resin (formerly metal) and plastic models is that the resin/metal ones tended to be a bit slighter in proportions.
One thing to note is that you might have to sculpt lower robes for the body in the Land Speeder if you want it to "look right" from above.

fantasy parts can work well in 40k, empire kits work very well with IG and i suppose armoured kits like bretonnians could work for SM too.

2000pts IG. ( based on fallout US Army)
3000pts XIIth Legiones Astartes 8th Assault Company. (Pre heresy)
never in the field of human conflict, has so much been fired at so many, by so few.
My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions. Loyal servant to the true emperor Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

I should be able to green stuff some robes onto the land speeder legs, maybe a little spilling out of the side if I feel fancy. Havent done any pinning but i'll keep it as plan B. There were some sweet cavalry banners in both Empire and Brettonians. Would the non-power armor arm be super noticeable? For specifics I would be using the Empire Knights or Brettonian Knights standard, leaning towards Empire.

Mixing finecast and plastic is no different than mixing metal and plastic. Use super glue and you can do what every you want.
Fantasy and 40k models aren't deliberately compatible so some conversion will likely be needed to get things to fit the way you want. That aside, people use bits from both systems all the time to make their models. Just be aware that visually, fantasy bits go into 40k easier than 40k bits go into fantasy.
