looks nice personally i dont use 2 hqs in a 1500 point game unless i just wanna have fun.

im all for using missiles on fangs however is has been told by the board of rules within GW that missile launchers are only going to carry frag and krak missiles and the flak shots are going to be a 5 point upgrade per launcher in the new codex releases but until then there are no AA weapons other than on the fortifications and on other flyers.

also im not a fan of wolf guard in smaller games like 1500 points or less usually you can get the space marine equivalent for much less points (thunder hammer, storm shield for example makes the wolf guard 63 points, standard termys get them for free or for a 5 point cost), id replace those with possibly an extra troop choice in a pod, nothing like backing up the first wave.

i would change the heavy support to

2 vindicators with extra armour and siege shield

5 long fangs (4 fangs 1 leader) with plasma cannons

lose the standards on the troops as they are good enough in combat.

this is what i use and they do me really well, however when the new AA stuff comes into play id have to say id leave the list the way you have it.

Pack leader the cyclone guard into the fangs, other than that keep your termies in other units seeing how putting two termies on baby sitting duty for your fangs doesn't seem like the best idea for their points.

The rune priest is exchanging powers? What school is he changing to? Depending on what your up against I would say keep your own powers in the dex, as they are very useful if used correctly (jotww can kill nids and gk paladins very quickly along with any other lower initiative enemies)

The Wolf Lord doesn't really fit in this list; he's a CC beast in an army where nearly everyone else is loaded up for shooting. I'd probably run a second Rune Priest (and drop most of the upgrades, keep them close to 100 points as possible) and try and add more troops. This way, you have the options of either taking Priests with Living Lightning/Jaws/MH/TW/SC or sticking them with the Long Fangs with Divination.

Might also want to make put both GH squads in Rhinos, due to the Drop Pod Assault rule.

Side effects of worshiping Papa Nurgle include (and are not limited to): Boils, scabs, internal bleeding, external bleeding, bleeding from the gums, eyes and ears, sweating, dehydration, furuncles, rash, pus-filled sores, nausea, vomiting, bloody vomit, black vomit, black & bloody vomit, sneezing, runny nose, dry nose, coughing, dry cough, wet cough, not-so-dry-but-still-raspy coughing, fever, hay fever, athlete's foot, athlete's arm, swimmer's ear, farmer's tongue, drowsiness, sleepiness, insomnia, mad cow disease, mad postal worker disease, loose bowels, constipation, anal leakage, and blood clotting. In most cases side effects were generally in the extreme and permanent. Consult your local cultist before worshiping Nurgle.

personally i dont use transports any more, i know they are in ways harder to kill but i always seem to lose them turn 1 and end up losing a lot of the contents. i usually play my troops as close to objectives as i can and play for first blood using thunder wolves and long fangs (first blood, slay the warlord and line breaker are my winners but i always keep 1 troop on the objective in my deployment area).

I have lots of things to say about your HQ choices. I'll start with the wolf lord.

Get rid of the Wolf Tooth Necklace. Your wolf lord has a WS 6 which means he already hits everything on a 3+ anyway. There is no way that you're going to see a return on that 10 point investment. Otherwise, he looks pretty good. Next, he probably does not need the wolf tooth talisman because as long as he stays reasonably close to the Rune Priest, the RP will negate enemy powers on a 4+.

Now the rune priest

Rune Priest w/runic armour, master of runes, chooser, wolf tail talisman, wolf tooth necklace, saga of the beast slayer

First of all, master of runes is a waste of 50 points. That's half way to another rune priest, and all it does is let you cast two powers per turn - doubling your odds of perils of the warp. Second, you cannot use both your wolf tail talisman AND your runic weapon to negate enemy powers. You can only use one or the other. So why pay 5 points to get a 5+ negation when you get a 4+ negation for free? Third, again with the wolf tooth necklace. You have a WS 5, which means that you are hitting anyone with a WS 4 or less - which is 95% of all models - on a 3+ anyway. The only time the WTN will actually improve your chances to hit is if you're fighting a challenge with an independent character or a big monster, and in those particular circumstances your Rune Priest is pretty much going to die. The WTN isn't going to save him. You should therefore avoid close combat with your RP - that's what your wolf lord is for anyway. Which brings me to my final point - Saga of the Beastslayer is a pointless and vain waste of 10 points on a rune priest.

5 Wolf Guard terms w/5 combi meltas, power swords,1xcyclone missile launcher

This is a nice unit, but it has no transport. Also, I don't think you need the cyclone missile launcher in this list because you already have 15 ML's with your long fangs. That makes the CML too expensive. I would either drop it, or exchange it for an assault cannon.

10 Grey Hunters + 2 xplasma guns, standard
Drop pod

10 Grey Hunters + 2 xplasma guns, standard
Rhino

The only thing wrong with your troops is that you don't have enough of them. You should have at least one troop unit per 500 points. Also...You should decide in advance whether you're going to go all Rhinos & Razorbacks, or all Drop Pods. They don't mix especially well.

Also...Where are you going to put your wolf lord and rune priest? If you attach them to the troop units, then they won't fit in their transports. But if you attach them to the wolf guard terminators, then they have no transport at all.

6 Long Fangs + 5 Missile Launchers

6 Long Fangs + 5 Missile Launchers

6 Long Fangs + 5 Missile Launchers

The Long Fangs are perfect.

My suggestion is to save points by dropping the wargear noted above. Then move the drop pod to the wolf guard unit and replace it with another Rhino. Attach the rune priest to one of the Long fang squads. Attach the wolf lord to the wolf guard unit, or drop the wolf lord entirely and use his points for another grey hunter squad.
