To start, what are devilgaunts? Only thing I can think of looking at the codex is termagaunts with devourers (take the dev and add it to gaunt, devilgaunts? idk shooting in the dark here lol). what is a dakkafex (fexs with deathspitter, devouurers, or a cannon? bio plasma? or just tyrannofexs?)

Planing to run a horde, with tervigons, gargoyles, spore mines(maybe not spore mines as they could set each other off) and biovorse. But I can tell I have little to deal with armor. people seem to love hive guard, must be something in the faq (just read it, what a buff!)

I also wanted to get as many psykers as I can too for support like the tervigons, what is their mastery level any way? All this in a 1500pts list.

A lot of these names come from internet forums and older codexes. Here's a few often used 'nid lingo:

- Devilgaunts are indeed Termagants with devourers.
- Dakkafex are Carnifexes with two pairs of twin-linked devourers with Brainleech worms
- Dakkarant is the same, but on a Hive Tyrant
- Screamer-Killers are Carnifexes with two pairs of Scything Talons and Bio-plasma
- Flyrants are Flying Hive Tyrants

The psychic mastery level of all the Tyranid Psykers is level 1, except for the Swarmlord, who is level 2.

You'll need the latest FAQ, downloaded from GW's website. It tells you stuff like the mastery of each psyker, and clarifies most of the conflicts the codex has with the new rules edition.
