Staying on target.....

Hey,

With my return to my blog and the painting of my brothers dwarves I have started to want to add a dwarven warband to my collection.
Now I have no doubt as to what warriors will be included in it (Banner, Khazad Guard plus some bows) but it's the hero choice that I am not sure about. I'm not looking at getting a Durin or Dain kind of hero but more the mid-range (for dwarves anyway).

The ones that interest me the most are Gimli, who is pure awesome and I think he's very good for what he does or the King's Champion who's rules made my jaw fall of last night when I actually looked at them

So some opinions would be good please!

Gimli = Pure awesome. My vote is for him! He is pretty cheap, comes with different weapon option, throwing weapons and high D.

Remember with dwarfs that you only want the one named hero so you can bump up your break point a bit (which is always lower than average with dwarfs)

Gimli's pretty darn awesome.

However, I have a very strong hatred for Dain.

Balin is pretty cool. I imagine 11 more ill be released very soon...

Gimli, Nuff said.

Seriously though, as named heros go, Gimli is the best for good and dwarves. Low cost and has lots of added bonuses.

King's Champion with Heralds, by far my favourite dwarf character but out of gimli, dain and balin I would sooner go so dain and balin and drop gimli than have any other combination but I'd have Gimli over any other single character in the dwarf book
