I have heard of Dakka many times but I finally decided to make a profile here. I normally hang out in 40KO as Randomguardsmen (some of you might know/hate me), but the action over there is a bit slow right now. I was also informed of your World Wide Campaign so I figured I might jump aboard.
I have been playing 40K since the end of 4th ed. I play IG 99% of the time as it is the only army I have collected. I am running a rogue trader/Merc style army themed around combat engineering. I mixed in a little bit of a German background to mix up my unit naming system a bit. I do not play in tournaments so most of my gaming is done with friends in friendly games. I would like to branch out to SoB, but I fear that waiting for them to get a plastic army might mean waiting forever.
I also play a lot of Video games. I play some TF2, I got bored enough to fire up my WoW account, and I play Company of Heros from time to time. I only play PC games and I tend to stay away from most competitive FPS games like Call of Duty and CSS. I also dabble a bit in some other nerd games such as D&D. I used to play BattleTech and Carwars, but that has been about 15 years ago give or take a few years.
A quick question.....where is the bathroom in this place? My wife's cooking gave me the 'Pork Sweats' and the closest thing I could find was the water fountain and I think I clogged it.....
