So me and my friend were talking Warmahordes, and we add this idea for anyone who would like to start Cryx (red for the starter pack) :

Points: 15/15
Warwitch Deneghra (*5pts)

Bane Thralls (Leader and 5 Grunts) (5pts)

and then, to progress to 25 pts with Terminus at the place of Denghra :

No comment on the Denny list. Looks like to you took a list off the internet, which is fine. But if its off the internet, its probably fine.

Terminus: too many jacks.

Terminus is a focus hog due to he wants to be up front beating face. At 25 pts he should have 1 jack, maybe 1 jack and a light jack. Consider just the slayer, or the 2x stalkers instead. Terminus is all about letting infantry work for him. 1 full unit of Bane Thralls with UA, 1 unit of Mech Thralls is the tradition solid foundations for him. The siren is fine, but only if you are running 2 Stalkers, so she can give 1 point of focus to 1.

For Denny, I'd drop the Slayer completely and add in the Siren and the other deathripper. The thrall unit will do more damage on the feat turn than the slayer will. The siren will get you another venom spray for more corrosive goodness.

njpc nailed Terminus. He doesn't like or need jacks outside the Deathjack or a Seether. He's got nothing worth arc noding. You'd also be ahead to go ahead and work Tartarus in there as well now.

The general thoughts regarding Terminus: He is one of the best casters in the game, IF you have taken the time to build him and find a way to transport him safely, you have earned the right to play him whenever your heart desires.

If you have not seen the model, it will make sense when you do or when you attempt to put him together I personallty have assembled him 3x having been paid to do it every time. Every time I have thought man he's so sweet once he's together, but there lots of grimacing and swearing trying to get him to stay together even with pins.

Trying to understand, is there a specific reason why you are trying to progress from pDenny to Terminus - and while using the Starter Box.

Just seems an odd progression considering the two completely different playstyles that these two Warcasters bring to the table...it almost seems like a league thing where players randomly draw their casters from a hat.

Agreed. If you want to move to a different caster whilst keeping the battlebox look at Skarre1 or Asphyxious1, both of whom can use the battlebox at an ok or great level (Skarre would prefer troops but she can definitely make it work)

You would have a much better progression with the WCoG.

Never thought of them. Yep, the witch coven would also be a good choice for moving on from Deneghra.
