Question for everyone out there who has experience with MicroArts Studio Terrain:

As it's made of what i think is MDF board, is there any special type of prep work needed for it not to swell during painting/priming etc?

Hopefully someone can answer this, because I really want to pick some stuff up, and I don't want to destroy it before I get to game with it.

Thanks in advance

I just hit it with spraypaint. The wood absorbs a good bit of it so best to prime it first.

MDF you normally seal with a mix of PVA and water, you could use a spray sealant if you wanted to. That way you will stop most of the absorption.
