So a reroll on a miss to-hit lets you reroll scatter dice. How about a reroll of a ONE to hit. Does it also grant a reroll on scatter or since you can't really roll a 1 on blast is it just useless?

I am assuming you mean Preferred Enemy letting you reroll a blast scatter ? If so then no, you cannot use something that lets you reroll 1's to reroll a scattered blast. A Twinlinked blast you can reroll.

How about Preferred Enemy Plasma Cannon? Do they re-roll the Get Hot!?

The Gets Hot! roll on a plasma cannon isn't a 'to hit' roll, so can't be re-rolled.

The non-BS gets hot is specifically allowed to be re-rolled any time you can re-roll to-hits, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

that's actually what happened...wolf priest joined long fangs giving for the preferred enemy. Long fangs fired plasma cannons and it (of course) drifted 7 inches backwards into my own squad X.x. Hence why I was hoping for re-roll.

So where does this stand?

re-roll scatter dice = no
re-roll wound dice = yes
re-roll gets hot! dice = ?

In order to re-roll GH! you need to be able to re-roll To Hit or scatter. If you cannot re-roll scatter, you cannot re-roll GH! with blast weapons.
