Hello Dakka Dakka. Just joined this forum. I've been a gamer since 1992 with a pause from about 1999 to 2004 or so. Been going strong ever since. Started in highschool with a friend playing Epic and very early 40k, though my focus personally was historical board wargaming. I am still a serious historical board gamer. Around 2007 I started getting seriously into miniatures. It's been downhill ever since! I started with historical periods and eventually moved into scifi as well. I recently began very seriously collecting 40k armies and I now have about 700 figures in my personal collection. The armies I have include Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Black Templars, Imperial Fists, Imperial Guard, and Tyranids. I don't much care for Orks or Eldar. My favorite subject for scifi gaming includes good old Space Marines vs archanid aliens or local rebel uprisings on far distance mining colonies, that sort of thing. I am not a big fan of the heavy magic/pysker/daemon/weird scifi stuff, but to each their own! My board game collection consists of about 600 wargames, and I also have a massive collection of 15mm American Civil War (about 5000 painted figures) and 28mm French & Indian War (about 1000 figures). So yeah, just what I need, another period to collect and play. One of my goals here is to reduce down a huge collection I recently came into and I will be posting lots of stuff for sale. About 500 Space Marines and assorted vehicles, and a large unpainted Ork army for starters.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I look forward to my time on the forum.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
